31601 paid a visit to the South Devon Railway during May where the loco was repainted into the latest DCR grey livery by volunteers from the Devon Diesel Society. As way of a thank you, the loco was named after the society in a short ceremony at Buckfastleigh station on Friday 22nd May 2015 before working passenger and freight services during the railways 1960s gala that weekend. 31601 stands at Buckfastleigh before hauling the 11:30 to Totnes Littlehempston on Friday 22nd May 2015
